New USGS report calls for improved water monitoring as planet warms
The new report issued by USGS indicated that temperature changes could affect water availability and quality, flood risk reduction, ecosystems, coastal areas, navigation, hydropower, and other energy sectors. Tracking, anticipating, and responding to climate change will allow water managers and the federal government to improve resource management.
